Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast, was a member of the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In 2012 her year, she received gold medals in team competitions as well as the floor workouts. On the balance beam she received a bronze. It made her the Olympic gymnast who won the most medals. The gold medal was hers during the team competition of the 2016 Olympics this made her and Gabby Douglas the first Americans to win back-to-back golds. Silver medals were also awarded in the individual all-around and floor exercises. Over the period of three years between the two Olympics, she was off. In addition, she was part of the gold-winning American teams in the two World Championships. Her first experience with gymnastics began at the age 2 and she has a favorite activity floor exercise. Aly supports the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in honor of her grandmother who passed away due to cancer. In the future, she intends to pursue a career in fashion. Also, she would like to extend her leotards line and sock collection. Fierce is her first book, which she will release later this year.
