Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30 1991) is better known under his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott), is an American artist, rapper and songwriter. He is also a record producer. The stage name is the combined name of a favorite uncle with the first name and the first name (of Kid Cudi), of his main inspiration, Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, along with an agreement to publish with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April 2013, he signed joint recording contracts with Epic and T.I. The singer also signed a recording deal with Epic and T.I. Scott's first full length project, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape) self-released in 2013. In 2013 Scott self-released his first full-length album, Owl Pharaoh. He followed it up with Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was the debut album of his studio. The hit song, "Antidote", was included on the album. The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first album to top the charts on the Billboard 200. Scott dropped Birds in the Trap: Sing McCKnight (2016) together with Quavo under the collective name Huncho Jack. In 2018, Astroworld was released to high praise from critics. The album produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released in the latter half of 2019 on Cactus Jack Records. It reached the top of the Billboard 200. The single, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. Scott was the first performer on the Hot 100 to have three songs make it to the top of the charts within one year.
